This caramel fudge recipe, borrowed from GBB supporter Anika in Auckland, is such an indulgent treat. And once you've got the technique down, it's really easy!

125 g butter

395 g NESTLE Sweetened Condensed Milk

2 tbs golden syrup

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup white chocolate chopped into pieces small

  • Line a 7 cm x 25 cm bar tin with baking paper.

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over a low heat. Add condensed milk, golden syrup and brown sugar.

  • Stir over a low heat until it comes to the boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

  • Remove from heat, stir in white chocolate and mix until smooth.

  • Pour into prepared tin and allow to cool completely, before refrigerating for at least two hours.

  • Add a sprinkle of rock salt across the top if that's your thing! Serve cut into squares or slices.
