This caramel fudge recipe, borrowed from GBB supporter Anika in Auckland, is such an indulgent treat. And once you've got the technique down, it's really easy!
125 g butter
395 g NESTLE Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 tbs golden syrup
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white chocolate chopped into pieces small
Line a 7 cm x 25 cm bar tin with baking paper.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over a low heat. Add condensed milk, golden syrup and brown sugar.
Stir over a low heat until it comes to the boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, stir in white chocolate and mix until smooth.
Pour into prepared tin and allow to cool completely, before refrigerating for at least two hours.
Add a sprinkle of rock salt across the top if that's your thing! Serve cut into squares or slices.
